I used a special divider to pour batter into three round cake pans. This is what the layers looked like before they were stacked...
I put the odd layer in the middle and this is what the cake looked like when cut...
I just thought that was so cool! :)

Oh, that cake looks really good! My family has made a couple of those before, but I've never been a part of the process. And your's looks so much more perfect than ours ever had. Great Job! :)

Wow! What a fun cake! I'd love to try that. I don't think we have any special dividers, but maybe I'll try baking three layers of cake like normal, and then slicing and rearranging them to make them like yours. :)

I love this cake it is so yummy, you should try it with red velvet in place of the chocolate. It is really good, my mom makes it that way!
